Unmarked Match Strikers

A large number of match strikers you can find are unmarked, so it is impossible to say for certain who made them (although is some cases their construction can give you a "list of suspects").

These all derive from a type of match striker that has an ash tray to put spent matches or cigarette ash in. In some, however the tray section is a stylized rather than functional feature (as in the first two jasper ware examples).
